Kelly Kessler, CPL

Kelly Kessler, CPL, has over 25 years of diverse land experience with properties located in Oklahoma, North Louisiana, Mississippi, East Texas, North Texas and West Texas. A land consultant since 2020, she previously held senior roles with Vine Oil & Gas LP, RSP Permian Inc., J-W Operating Co., Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. and other small, independent oil and gas companies.

In addition to participating with various local philanthropic initiatives, Kessler has been a member of the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen for over 25 years, serving in various committee and leadership roles, including president (2012-13) and DAPL board of directors member (2008-14). Kessler was also honored as DAPL Landman of the Year in 2014. 

A member of AAPL for over 25 years, Kessler obtained her CPL certification in 1996. She has served on various AAPL committees, including two terms on the Bylaws and Policy Manual Review Committee, where she served as chair. She currently serves as a trustee and the secretary of the Landman Scholarship Trust and is a member of the AAPL Education Annual Meeting/Seminar Committee. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma.
