Wendy G. Dalton, CPL
Wendy Dalton, CPL, serves as division land manager for EOG Resources, Inc. in Midland, Texas. She began her career in 1997 in land administration with Union Pacific Resources before moving into operational land support where she worked several basins including the Austin Chalk and Rockies. In 2004 she joined EOG as a land associate and in 2006 was promoted to landman and worked in the Barnett Shale. She went on to serve as EOG’s land manager for the Fort Worth Division and then moved to Midland in 2015 to work and manage EOG’s Permian Basin assets.
Very active with the AAPL, Dalton currently is the assistant chairman of the Advisory Landman Connection Committee. She served as assistant chairman and chairman of the Annual Meeting, Ethics, Marketing and Field Landman committees. She also served on the Strategic Planning Committee and represented the Fort Worth APL as an AAPL board member. A leader in her local associations, Dalton has held several different positions on the boards of directors for both the FWAPL and the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association.
Since 1989, Dalton has been involved with the Christmas Wish Project and currently is a board member. The project, which benefits foster children in the Fort Worth area, has grown from providing wish gifts for less than 100 children in 1989 to providing gifts for over 800 children in need in 2018. In addition, she serves on the boards of the Texas Golden Gloves Athletic Association and the Texas Golden Gloves Youth Development Association.
Dalton graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Texas Wesleyan University in 1996. She and Todd have been married for 20 years and enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing golf and hunting.
