New for 2026, the Basin Bash combines the best of two beloved aspects of past Annual Meeting offerings — the Hot Play Happy Hour and Landman Bash — into one exciting new networking event at the Depot concert venue, which sits next to SLC’s historic and iconic Union Pacific Railroad Station! Five dedicated spaces for specific basins or regions will be provided, allowing attendees to form new connections with fellow land professionals in their main areas of work.

These include:

1. OCS, Alaska, West Coast & Canada

2. Texas (inclusive of Haynesville/Bossier, Eagle Ford & Permian basins)

3. Appalachian, Michigan & Illinois Basins

4. Mid-Continent

5. Rockies

Attendees can enjoy drinks, light appetizers and a DJ while exploring other regions and fun common spaces the Depot has to offer. Free streetcars are available for attendees to use for transportation to and from the Grand America Hotel and the Depot.
