Over the past year, we’ve been hard at work building a new association management system and website designed to serve our members better than ever before. The project is progressing beautifully, and we’re thrilled to be on track for a late fall rollout. While we put the finishing touches on the system, I wanted to give you a first look at what’s ahead and show you how this upgrade will make your member experience more seamless, efficient and personalized.
A FRESH LOOK AND SMARTER FUNCTIONALITY
The first thing you’ll notice is the modern design and intuitive navigation. The new site opens with a dynamic homepage featuring rotating banners that highlight the latest updates, events and initiatives, ensuring you’ll always have timely, relevant information front and center. Once logged in, the experience becomes even more tailored to you as we are introducing member-specific content that adjusts based on your interests, certification status and engagement history. To make the most of these features, we will send you information on how to easily update your profile so that we can ensure you receive the content and news you need and want. The more accurate our data, the better we can serve you content that truly matters.
CUSTOMIZATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
One of the most exciting new capabilities is the customizable member homepage. You’ll have the power to decide what information appears first — whether it’s upcoming events in your region, training opportunities or specific resources related to your professional focus.
Your account management area has also been reimagined for clarity and ease of use. You’ll be able to see your membership renewal status at a glance, making the renewal process faster and more convenient.
For those pursuing or maintaining certification, this upgrade is a game changer. You’ll easily track your progress, monitor application status and know exactly when you’re ready to test. Certified members will also have quick access to view their certification periods and manage continuing education requirements directly through the site.
And speaking of continuing education, one of the staff’s favorite new tools is the Certification Wheel, a visual tracker that shows your progress toward certification and enables you to log education hours in real time. No more hunting for spreadsheets or guessing how far you’ve come. Everything is right there at your fingertips.
SMARTER TOOLS AND ENHANCED MEMBER CONNECTIONS
Managing payments and receipts is easier than ever with the streamlined payments section, where you can swiftly view and print any transaction record. The site also includes quick links to your most frequently used features — so whether you’re renewing, registering or researching, you’re never more than a click away.
If you’re attending events, your event registration details will now appear directly within your profile. This makes it simple to review what you’ve signed up for, access event information and stay organized throughout the year.
We’ve also completely revamped the member search tool to help you connect more meaningfully with your peers. In addition to basic name and location searches, you’ll now be able to filter by basin or region, certification status and even work availability, which will make it easier to find collaborators, mentors or project partners. Certified members will have a special visual flag noting their prestigious designation, and everyone will have the option to upload a headshot to personalize their profiles. For those hiring or seeking work, new search filters will help connect you with the right people faster.
A BETTER NAVIGATION EXPERIENCE
The site’s navigation has been thoughtfully reorganized for simplicity and flow. Each major section — including Training & Certification, Events, Join & Engage, Resources & Tools, and Advocacy — features nested pages that make it easier to locate the content you need.
We’re also introducing interactive pop-ups that highlight important updates or pages within each section. This will help us draw attention to time-sensitive opportunities, such as certification deadlines, event registration reminders or advocacy updates.
The Resources & Tools section houses the most extensive content library on the site. It’s designed to help members quickly locate reference materials, best practices and industry insights — organized more logically and intuitively than ever before.

This new platform isn’t just a website refresh — it’s a complete reimagining of how we connect with and serve you, our valued members! It’s built with flexibility, usability and engagement in mind, and we can’t wait for you to explore it firsthand.
