The Session will focus on recent litigation activities regarding the Orpha n Well Program and Unleased Owner Reporting to see how legislative nuances and tangenti al factual circumstances can impact litigation.   

Artificial Intelligence is transforming how land professionals evaluate, acquire, and develop property. This session demonstrates how AI, combined with geospatial data and engineering expertise, can identify risks earlier, improve decision-making, and accelerate project delivery.
Through real-world examples, attendees will see how AI-assisted analysis supports heavy haul route planning, road and bridge assessments, powerline and infrastructure observations, drainage and flood risk evaluations, and site suitability studies for major industrial developments. The presentation will showcase how these technologies provide land professionals with actionable intelligence that extends beyond traditional title and acquisition activities, ultimately reducing project risk, avoiding costly surprises, and supporting more informed investment decisions.

This presentation examines how weather systems, including cold fronts and tropical cyclones, influence coastal ocean processes in the northern Gulf. Using examples from shelf waters, tidal inlets, and estuaries, it demonstrates how weather-driven wind fields can be quantitatively linked to currents, water transport, and water level variability through, numerical, statistical and observational approaches.

This session  covers how Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings impact real property titles, specifically examining asset ownership, lien validity, and the status of leases or executory contracts under Texas and Louisiana law. It guides professionals through the bankruptcy life cycle—from petition to property sale—enabling them to understand and conduct thorough proof of claim and chain-of-title analyses.
