Geology for Landmen

This session will provide an overview of the tools used by geologists to locate oil and gas, basic trapping mechanisms with emphasis placed on faulted salt dome structures, reservoir characteristics, and electric logs and their relationship with producing reservoirs. Other topics include hydraulic fracturing and its effect on fresh water sources.
